Winter olympics

Hi guys!

As you know The Sochi 2014 Olympic Games, officially known as the XXII Olympic Winter Games, are underway between 7 and 23 February 2014 in the city of Sochi, Russia.I've found a very interesting video to know all the winter olympic games. Most of them are unknown for me and I suppose for you too. Are you interesting in sports?

Hi guys,
As you can see in the coundown, The Olympic games are cooming soon (27th July).
Here you are lot of interesting information about the History, The city which organizes them,where are the games being held, and so on. This information can be suitable for all the memebers in your family (if they are interested on the Games facts).

Wenlock and Manderville

Hi there!
Since 1968, the Olympic Games have had a mascot. This year, London has choosen Wenlock and Manderville, mascots for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.The first one was named after  the village of Much Wenlock in Shropshire. This town is known for Wenlock Olympian Games set up by Dr William Penny Brookes. The latter, Mandeville, is named after Stoke Mandeville in Buckinghamshire, where the first Paralympic Games were held in 1948.
